Install Endpoint Security Exploit Prevention Linux content package

Follow these steps to install content package in the master repository.

You must have installed Trellix Endpoint Security Threat Prevention 10.7.0.840 extension or above for Exploit prevention to work in your environment.

  1. Log on to the ePO - On-prem server as an administrator.

  2. Select Menu/Software/Master Repository .

  3. Check in the content package to the master repository. For this, you can use Check in Package option or Pull Now.

  4. Select the content file (Endpoint Security Exploit Prevention Linux Content), then click Open/Next.

    Note

    If you are using check-in package option in master repository, the package name is ENDP_Linux_Content_10.7.0_<minor_version>.zip.

The content package is now available in the master repository. Once the content package gets checked into the master repository, exploit prevention policies gets updated with the signatures that are available in the content.
