Install the Migration Assistant

The Migration Assistant extension is required only for migrating legacy settings to Trellix ENS. It is not part of the Trellix ENS product extension package. You must install it on your ePO - On-prem server as a separate extension if you plan to migrate.

Note

The Endpoint Migration Assistant supports Trellix ENS version 10.7.18 as the final supported version for migrating legacy settings. This version limitation applies to all migration workflows.

  1. In ePO - On-prem, select Menu → Software Catalog → Software Not Checked In.

  2. On the left side of the Software Catalog screen, under Product Categories, select Licensed, then:

    1. In the Software Not Checked In table, select Endpoint Migration Assistant. The description and the extension for the Migration Assistant are displayed in the table at the bottom of the screen.

    2. Click Check In to check in the Migration Assistant extension to your ePO - On-prem. When installation is complete, the Migration Assistant is listed on the Extensions screen.
