Install Trellix EDR with Forensics packages using Software Catalog

To install Trellix EDR with Forensics packages using ePO - On-prem:

  1. Log in to ePO - On-prem.

  2. Navigate to Menu → Software → Software Catalog → Threat Analysis → Packages and expand Trellix EDR with Forensics 50.x or later.

    Important

    To enable FIPS mode in Trellix EDR with Forensics, make sure you install Trellix EDR with Forensics 50.2 package or later.

  3. Select Trellix EDR with Forensics for Windows, Linux, or macOS, and click Check In.

  4. Accept the Terms and Conditions and click Check In.

  5. View the check-in status in the View Task Log.

Install Trellix EDR with Forensics extension

To install Trellix EDR with Forensics extensions using ePO - On-prem:

  1. Log in to ePO - On-prem.

  2. Navigate to Menu → Software → Software Catalog → Threat Analysis → Extensions and expand Trellix EDR with Forensics 50.x or later.

    Important

    To enable FIPS mode in Trellix EDR with Forensics, make sure you install Trellix EDR with Forensics 50.2 extension or later.

  3. Select Trellix EDR with Forensics and click Check In.

  4. Accept the Terms and Conditions and click Check In.

  5. View the check-in status in the View Task Log.
