Enables IPv6 addressing for the ether1 interface.
Syntax
<no> interface ether1 ipv6 address <IPv6 addr>/<len>
Parameters
no
Disables IPv6 addressing.
IPv6 addr/<len>
Specify the IPv6 address or length to be used.
Examples
The following example enables the IPv6 addressing:
hostname (config) # interface ether1 ipv6 address 2201:470:84a7: 1720:bdff:fe049f77
The following example disables the IPv6 addressing:
hostname (config) # no interface ether1 ipv6 address 2201:470:84a7: 1720:bdff:fe049f77
