Configures the MTU of the ether1 interface.
Syntax
<no> interface ether1 mtu <MTU in bytes>
Parameters
no
Disables MTU on the interface.
MTU in bytes
The maximum size of outbound packets, (in bytes), for the specified interface. The default is 1500.
Examples
The following example enables MTU on the interface:
hostname (config) # interface ether1 mtu 1400
The following example disables MTU on the interface:
hostname (config) # no interface ether1 mtu 1400
