Configures the ether2 interface IP address and net mask.
Syntax
<no> interface ether2 ip address <IP address> <net mask>
Parameters
no
Disables IP address and netmask configuration.
IP address
Specify the IP address to be used for the configuration.
netmask
The network mask can be specified in dotted decimal format, (such as "255.255.255.0"), or in mask length format, (such as "/24").
Examples
The following example configures the IP address and netmask:
hostname (config) # interface ether2 ip address 10.10.20.1 /24 255.255.255.0
The following example disables the half duplex:
hostname (config) # no interface ether2 ip address 10.10.20.1 /24 255.255.255.0
