Disables the interface, (enabled by default).
Syntax
<no> interface <interface name> shutdown
Parameters
no
Enables the interface.
interface name
The interface to be used.
Examples
The following example disables the interface:
hostname (config) # interface ether1 shutdown
The following example enables the interface:
hostname (config) # no interface ether1 shutdown
