Configures the pether2 interface speed.

Syntax

<no> interface pether2 speed { <speed> | 10 | 100 | 1000 | 10000 | auto }

Parameters

no

Freezes the interface speed.

speed

Specifies the interface speed. When the speed is set to auto, the duplex mode is also set to auto-negotiated. If the speed is set manually, the duplex mode is queried and set to the detected value. There are six options for speed:

  • <speed> (manual)

  • 10 Mbps

  • 100 Mbps

  • 1000 Mbps

  • 10000 Mbps

  • auto

Examples

The following example sets the interface speed to 10 Mbps:

hostname (config) # interface pether2 speed 10

The following example freezes the interface speed:

hostname (config) # no interface pether2 speed 10
