Key devices to enable communication. Keying enhances security by making sure that the device communicates with only the Trellix ESM.
For Trellix ESM to communicate with a device, it encrypts communications using the key created when the device is keyed.
All settings are stored on the Trellix ESM device, which means that the Trellix ESM console is aware of the keys maintained on the Trellix ESM device.
Device administrators can overwrite settings on the device from another Trellix ESM device. Use a single Trellix ESM device to manage SIEM devices attached to it.
From the Trellix ESM dashboard, click and select More Settings .
In the Physical Display panel, verify that each device you added appears in the device tree.
Select a device and click Properties.
