Automatically extends locally generated signature rules expiration time beyond the default value of 24 hours.
To change the time-to-live (TTL) default value, use the localsig ttl hours command.
Note
The Central Management System appliance controls the TTL settings for managed appliances.
Syntax
[no] localsig ttl auto-extend enable
Parameters
<term>no</term>Use the no form of this command to automatically extend a rule more than 24 hours.

The following example automatically extends the TTL setting of local signature rules.
