Sets the http-proxy host settings. The http-proxy is used in the local network to redirect the incoming and outgoing network traffic from the Trellix appliance.

Syntax

managed-defense vpn http-proxy host <ip-address> port <port> [auth-type <authtype> [username <username> password <password>]]

Parameters

hostname

The name of the host.

port

The default port number for http proxy is 3128. You can use any port for this.

authtype

The http-proxy authentication type. Can be "none", "basic", or "ntlm". If authtype is "basic" or "ntlm", a username and password are required.

Username

The username.

password

The user's password.

Example
