System requirements
The following lists the system requirements for this release of Trellix Mobile Security:
The minimum OS version is Android 6. The local VPN functionality requires Android 6 and higher.
For standard Samsung Knox device action support, Android version 7.x and Knox version 2.7 and later are required. For Samsung Knox MTD support, Knox version 3.3 and later are required.

This table lists the new features provided in this release of the Trellix Mobile Security iOS application.
March 2024 – 5.3.21
Deep Scan Forensic Analysis: This release has a new Forensic Analysis tile in the device dashboard. This feature allows the user to execute a deep scan on the device to determine whether it has been compromised, and displays a summary of actionable results. To activate this feature, you must select the Manage -> General page of the latest Trellix Mobile Console Release.
iOS Shortcuts: This release has a new Shortcuts tile in the device dashboard. iOS shortcuts allow a user or app to automate a set of actions. Apps can install shortcuts on the device as part of their normal operation, or shortcuts can be added directly from Apple or from external websites. Since iOS shortcuts allow executing actions on the device, they can pose a security or privacy risk This feature detects risky and malicious iOS shortcuts and allows the user to remove them from the device. This feature requires iOS version 16 or later.

Dynamic Threats
This table lists the threat additions and changes that occurred dynamically within this release timeframe. These threats display on the Policy page of the Trellix Mobile Console. The iOS and Android columns indicate the minimum release required to support new or updated threats if applicable. The Status column indicates if the threat is new, updated, or deleted. The threat activation date for these aligns after the GA release of Trellix Mobile Security 5.3.x.
In the Trellix Mobile Console, these new threats now exist with this release by default, disabled for existing customer policies and enabled for any new policies for both existing and new tenants.
