This section describes new features and changes in the Trellix Endpoint Security Agent (HX) release 36.30.0.
Audits Module feature
Trellix Endpoint Security Agent (HX) version 36.30.0 comes with a system module for audits of endpoints running on Mac, Linux, and Windows.
This feature supports multiple file acquisitions and allows you to enable or disable data acquisitions from the audit settings in the agent default policy.You can also create your own custom acquisition policies.
Note
The Audits Module is automatically installed on xAgents connected to the Endpoint Security (HX) system providing quick updates for audit functionality. The Audits Module can be updated independently of an xAgent release.
Important
The Audits Module feature is only supported on Endpoint Security (HX) version 10.0.0. Trellix recommends upgrading your Endpoint Security (HX) to version 10.0.0 before you deploy your xAgent software.
Tip
The Audits feature as a module requires upgrading the Endpoint Security (HX) to version 10.0.0. The Audits feature as a functionality remains supported by the xAgent software for server versions before Endpoint Security (HX) 10.0.0.
License keys for Malware Protection
You can now update license keys for Malware Protection using DTI. This does not require an xAgent update.
