Enables NTP synchronization on the system. NTP is enabled by default.

Syntax

[no] ntp enable

Parameters

no

The no form of this command disables NTP synchronization.

Example

The following example enables NTP synchronization.

hostname (config) # ntp enable
hostname (config) # show ntp
NTP is administratively enabled.
NTP Authentication is administratively enabled.
Clock is synchronized. Reference: 10.2.1.1. Offset: -49.888 ms.
