policymgr interface qinq evet

Optimizes QinQ performance on the NX 7400 and NX 7500 appliance models and adds an ether type to the external VLAN. (This parameter does not apply to other models, which are automatically configured for optimal performance.)

Syntax

policymgr interface <port-pair-name> qinq evet <etherType> { 0x88a8 | 0x9100 | 0x8100 }

Parameters

<port-pair-name>

Designation (A or B) that is configured on the appliance interface.

<etherType>

Adds an ether type to the external VLAN.

{0x88a8}

802.1ad ether type (default)

{0x9100}

802.1qinq ether type

{0x8100}

802.1Q ether type

Examples

The following example adds the 0x88a8 ether type to the external VLAN:
