You must create and assign a client task to initiate a scan. The scan identifies vulnerabilities and uploads the data for analysis.
Select Menu → Policy → Client Task Catalog.
Select Trellix Agent → Product Deployment.
Click New Task.
Select Attack Path Discovery as the task type and click OK.
Assign the task to the target endpoints.
Set the schedule to run on the next Agent-Server Communication Interval (ASCI).
The scan runs on the endpoint and immediately uploads results to a secure destination. No scan files remain on the local machine.
Note
To view results, log in to the AttackIQ portal. You must manually resolve findings on the endpoint before you run a new scan.
