show mvx status

Displays whether an appliance is capable of sending submissions to an MVX cluster for analysis, and shows related configuration and status information.

Output fields

The following table describes the output fields for the show mvx status command.

Field	Description
Sensor Config Enabled (Network Security only)	Whether the appliance is enabled as a sensor.
Current Operating Mode	Current operating mode: `sensor`—The appliance sends all submissions to an MVX cluster for inspection and analysis. `hybrid`—The appliance sends submissions to an MVX cluster, but only when a predefined capacity threshold is reached. `integrated`—The appliance uses its own analysis engine for all inspection and analysis.
Mode Reboot Required (Network Security only)	Whether you need to reload the appliance after changing the operating mode for the change to take effect.
Submission Interface	Name of the interface used for communication between the sensor or hybrid appliance and broker.
Modes Supported	Operating mode for this appliance: `mvx configurable`—The appliance has an on-board MVX analysis engine. It can operate in local mode (in which its on-board MVX engine performs the analysis). It can also operate in sensor mode (in which it submits objects to an MVX cluster instead of its on-board MVX engine), or in hybrid mode (in which it submits objects to an MVX cluster when predefined capacity thresholds are exceeded). `mvx sensor-only`—The appliance has no MVX engine engine, and must submit objects to an MVX cluster for analysis. `mvx integrated-only`—The appliance cannot submit objects to an MVX cluster and must use its on-board MVX engine for analysis.
Virtual Model	Whether this is a virtual appliance model.
Virtual System	Whether this is a virtual appliance software image.
WSAPI Current State	The state of the Web services API process (`running` or `not running`).
Submission Client (MVX_SC) ok	Whether the submission process is running and a description. For example: `Yes. Healthy.` `No. Broker not configured.` `No. Connection refused. Retrying.` `No. Queues not configured.`
