Network Security devices detect Domain Generation Algorithms (DGA) attacks when you enable DGA detection. You can disable DGA detection using the No parameter.

You can configure an individual allowlist domain or you can upload file listing up to 500 allowlist domains using the web UI. Use the No parameter to delete the allowlist domain.

Syntax

[no] smartvision dga-detect [config update now] [enable][whitelist*]

Enable or disable DGA detection. Configure or delete an allowlist domain.

Parameters

no

Use the no form of this command to disable DGA detection.

enable

Enable DGA detection.

config update now

Force a DGA configuration update.

whitelist

Enter <domain address> for configuring an individual allowlist domain.

Example

The following example enables DGA detection and forces a configuration update:

hostname (config) # smartvision dga-detect [config update now] [enable]
