Host endpoints stop sending data or responding to their provisioned Endpoint Security (HX) when they become inactive.
You can specify host aging periods. By default, the Endpoint Security (HX) software automatically ages (removes) inactive host endpoints after their defined aging periods have passed.
You can enable or disable host aging and you can change the host aging periods. In addition, you can manually delete host endpoints at any time. See Removing hosts.
Note
When host endpoints are deleted—whether automatically or manually—the Endpoint Security (HX) software also automatically deletes any triages and data acquisitions associated with the deleted endpoints.
