Specifies the maximum amount of time an SSH session can remain open before the server will force a new key exchange.

Syntax

ssh server rekey time-limit <seconds>

Parameters

seconds

The number of seconds. The default is 3600 seconds (60 minutes). The minimum is 60 seconds (one minute).

Example

The following example configures a 90-minute maximum.

hostname (admin) # ssh server rekey time-limit 5400
