Search requests continue running even after all hosts have responded. A search is stopped automatically when one of the search limits is reached. See Search limitations. You also can manually stop a search.
To manually stop an Enterprise Search:
Select Enterprise Search in the Investigate section of the main menu in the Endpoint Security (HX) Web UI.
Select the search you want to stop.
Click Stop collecting results.
The search is stopped.
Note
You cannot restart a stopped search.
