Removes files in the specified cleanup profile that are older than the specified number of days without prompting the user to confirm the action.

Syntax

system cleanup profile <profile name> older-than <days> force

Parameters

profile name

The cleanup profile.

  • backups

    Backup files created during user-initiated backup and restore procedures.

  • fedb-backups

    Database backup files created during system image updates.

  • logs

    Log files.

  • malicious-artifacts

    Malicious artifact files generated on the appliance.

  • nonmalicious-artifacts

    Non-malicious artifact files generated on the appliance.

  • reports

    Report files.

  • smartvision

    SmartVision context files. (Network Security only)

  • snapshots

    Process crash dump files.

  • sysdumps

    Debug files.

  • tcpdumps

    Packet capture files.

  • temp-files

    Temporary files.

days

The minimum age (in days) of the files in the cleanup profile to be removed.

Example

The following example cleans files in the "fedb-backups" cleanup profile that are older than seven days.

hostname (config) # system cleanup profile fedb-backups older-than 7
6446 MB of disk space freed.
