System notifications

Prev Next

On the Trellix ESM dashboard, system notification pop-ups will inform you of alarms and device health changes.

You can view the notification by clicking GUID-F5F3409B-1F41-42C0-8EED-0C2FB7A1A40F-low.png on the header.

If an alarm is configured with the Visual Alert action, a pop-up appears when the alarm is triggered.

The pop-up displays the alarm name and the color depends on the severity of the alarm. For more information about alarms, see Alarms.

Turn notifications off

Use Do not disturb mode to turn system notifications off. For more information about enabling/disabling Do not disturb mode, see Personalize your Trellix ESM .

If do not disturb mode is on:

  • Messages are redirected into the notification area.

  • The same information is logged in var/log/messages.

  • The counter is incremented when the same issue is encountered multiple times.

  • Do not disturb mode setting is set per user and per browser.

Note

Device health notifications are not suppressed by Do not disturb mode and some browser settings might override it.
