To enable the trusted platform module (TPM) through physical presence, use the tpm enable command in configuration mode.
Important
You enable the TPM only once. You cannot undo this procedure.
Caution
If you enable the TPM but do not have a keyboard directly attached to your appliance, you might lose access to the system after it restarts.
Note
If a serial console or IPMI console is attached to the appliance, the appliance will not enable the TPM.
Syntax
[no] tpm enable
Parameters

Cancels the TPM physical presence request.
