Always keep the DAT and Engine up to date to protect your Mac from the latest threats.
Click the Trellix menulet on the status bar, then select Console.
On the console dashboard, click Update Now.
Click Start Update to initiate the DAT update task.
Upon completion, the update summary appears with the engine version, DAT version, update status, and DAT creation date in the Threat Prevention Update section. You can view the status and details of Threat Prevention update event in the Event Log page.
