Upgrade high availability receivers, starting with the secondary receiver.
Make sure the receivers don't have the same IP address.
The Heartbeat connection requires a network latency of 75 ms or better to prevent high availability receivers fail over and any issues.
On the system navigation tree, select the receiver, then click the Properties icon
.Set the primary receiver to No Preference, which allows you to use the Fail-Over option.
Update the secondary receiver.
Click Receiver Management, then select Secondary.
Click Update Device, then select or browse to the file you want to use and click OK.
The receiver restarts and the version of software is updated.
On Receiver Properties, click → .
Select the secondary receiver, then click OK.
Rey-key the secondary receiver ( → → → ).
Return the secondary receiver to service.
Update the other receiver.
Click Receiver Management, then select Primary.
Click Update Device, then select or browse to the file you want to use and click OK.
The receiver restarts and the version of software is updated.
On Receiver Properties, click → .
Select the secondary receiver, then click OK.
Rekey the device ( → → → ).
Return the receiver to service.
Change the secondary receiver back to primary by clicking → .
