The results of analysis performed on the Intelligent Virtual Execution - Server appliance are returned to the sensors or hybrid appliances that submitted the samples. The information can be viewed at the Alerts > Alerts page of the managing Central Management System appliance or individual sensor or hybrid appliance.
Note
In a Trellix Network Security deployment, event notifications are configured at the Central Management System appliance, not at the sensor or hybrid appliance or at the Intelligent Virtual Execution - Server appliance.
Event Notifications
To configure event notifications for a sensor or hybrid appliance, use the Central Management System appliance. At the Appliance Settings: Notifications page, you can do the following:
Specify the event types for which you want notifications.
Select the protocols (email, http, rsyslog, and snmp) to be used for each event type.
Test-fire a selected event type.
Configure or disable daily digest notifications.

Emailed event notifications
To configure the email protocol for event notifications for a sensor or hybrid appliance, use the Central Management System appliance. At the Appliance Settings: Email page, you can do the following:
Add or remove sensor or hybrid appliance users as email notification recipients.
Specify what is set to an email notification recipient:
Notifications for informational events
Notifications for failure events
Detailed or summarized event information
Scheduled reports
