You can generate and download reports as needed, or you can configure them to be generated on a schedule and delivered automatically through email.
Naming convention for generated Reports
The file name of a generated report has the following format:
<reportName>_<applianceName>_<yyyy><mm><dd>_<hh><mm><ss><pppppppppppp>.<ext>
<reportName>
The name of the report: smart_vision, alert_details, callback_server, executive_summary, infected_hosts, or malware_activity.
<applianceName>
The appliance hostname.
Example: FE-NS-NX900-2
<yyyy><mm><dd>
The date (year, month, and day) the report was generated.
Example: 20180722
<hh><mm><ss><pppppppppppp>
The time (hour, minute, second, and picoseconds) the report was generated.
Example: 212724536710164000
<ext>
Filename extension: csv, json, pdf, text, or xml.
Storage of generated reports
The SmartVision appliance saves a copy of each report in the /data/reports directory, and you can download reports from the appliance to your local machine. The reports are removed automatically when the size of the reports directory exceeds 100 MB.
