Use the Custom Riskware Policy Configuration page to add or delete riskware detection custom policy rules on the File Protect appliance using the Web UI.

If you add a file extension to both a blacklist and a riskware rule, the blacklist takes precedence.

You must select alert, quarantine, or both for each rule.
In the Web UI, choose Settings > Riskware Policy.
Click the Custom Riskware Rules tab.
Click Add. The Add New Custom Riskware Rule dialog box appears.
In the File Extension box, enter the file extension for which you want to add to a custom policy rule. Click Add more File Extension to add more file extensions.
Select the Alert Only checkbox to receive alerts when files with this extension appear in an email.
Select the Quarantine checkbox to block emails that contain files with this extension or files with this extension.
Click Save.
In the Web UI, choose Settings > Riskware Policy.
Click the Custom Riskware Rules tab.
Select the checkbox to the left of the custom policy rule you want to delete and click the trash can icon.
If you want to delete multiple rules at once, select the corresponding checkboxes. Click Delete.
A confirmation dialog box appears.
Click Yes. All of the specified custom policy rules for riskware detection are deleted.
