You can use the Central Management Web UI or CLI to add sensors to an on-premises Central Management appliance for management.

Adding Sensors to the Central Management Appliance Using the Web UI
Use the Appliances > Sensors page to add appliances that will function as sensors to a Central Management appliance.
Field | Description |

Display name | The name of the appliance. (The name will be displayed in the show cmc appliances command output.) |

IP Address | The IPv4 or IPv6 address of the management interface on the appliance. |
Username | A user account on the appliance with the admin role. |
Password | The password for the user account specified in the Username field. |
Appliance host key | (Required if host-key authentication is enabled) The RSA v2 host key for the appliance. For details, see the FireEye System Security Guide. |
Comment | (Optional) A comment that describes the appliance. |
