Adding system log servers using the Web UI

You need to add one or more system log servers to receive the alert notifications.

Prerequisites

  • Admin or Operator access to the Malware Analysis appliance Web UI.

To add a system log server:

  1. In the Web UI, click Settings > Notifications.

  2. Select the RSYSLOG tab.

  3. Under View and add Rsyslog Servers, click Add Rsyslog Server.

  4. Enter a server name.

  5. Set the rsyslog server's IP address.

  6. Select Enabled.

  7. Set the following if necessary:

    • Delivery frequency

    • Type of events to trigger a notification

    • Alert format

    • Alert warning level

    • Communications protocol

  8. Click Add New Rsyslog Server.
