OneNote (formerly OneNote 2016) with the extension .one is part of the Microsoft Office suite.
Supported versions: Office 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019.
Note
does not support OneNote which is pre-installed with Windows 10 called as OneNote for Windows 10.
To analyze OneNote file:
Install Microsoft Office on the virtual machine.
If you have installed Microsoft Office but OneNote is not included, you can download OneNote from the website (www.onenote.com) or use the Add or Remove feature in the Control Panel to install it.
Open OneNote and sign-in (if required).
Click Accept on the License Agreement window.
