Applying activation code using CLI

You can apply the activation code received via email to virtual appliances only after setting up the virtual instance. To apply the activation code, perform the following steps:

Using the SSH protocol, log into the appliance as npadmin.
Enter configuration mode.

npadmin@hostname# configure system
```
Type dtigateway and then press Enter to open the DTI Gateway Configuration menu.
Type U and then press Enter to update the activation code.
Paste the activation code you received in the onboarding email from Trellix and then press Enter.
The activation code is applied.
