You can change the parameters for scans in the following states:
Scan state | Description |
|---|---|
Saved scan | Scan is saved but not configured |
Aborted scan | Scan is aborted |
Configured/scheduled scan | Scan is configured and not yet started |
Paused scan | Scan is in paused state |
Scan paused by the system | Scan is paused due to storage failure |
Running scan | Scan is in progress |
Note
When you edit a running scan, the changes will be applied to the remaining files. Files already analyzed by the scan will remain unaffected by the changes.
For example, a running scan has already analyzed 40 out of 100 files. If you edit the scan at this stage, the changes will affect the remaining 60 files.
