The Central Management System appliance provides health and status information about the cluster. You can view the information from the CLI of either node, but must use the Web UI of the primary node to view the information.
Note
In a LAN deployment, you can use the IP address or hostname of the primary node to access the Web UI, or use a configured Virtual IP (VIP) address. Using the VIP address allows you to log in to the Web UI without knowing which node currently has the primary role. For more information, see Virtual IP address.
