NDR appliances participating in and NDR Cluster are likely to be a master node, a data node, or both. Master nodes coordinate the effort of the NDR cluster and are necessary for cluster operation and interaction with the NDR Web UI. Data nodes are used to store and search metadata.
Each NDR Cluster has a cluster name that uniquely identifies it. Each master or data node also has a node name that uniquely identifies it.
Caution
If you rename an NDR Cluster your data will be lost, but will still appear on a connected PX.
