The Trellix Hyperautomation Edge component for Amazon Web Services (AWS) extends your workflow execution capabilities into your cloud environment. This procedure details how to initiate a new Edge deployment via the product console.
Perform these steps to configure and deploy an AWS Edge component:
Navigate to the Edges menu and click Create. This opens the New Edge configuration form.
In the Infrastructure field, select Amazon Web Services (AWS).
In the Name field, enter a descriptive name for the Edge deployment. This field is Required.
In the Enter Description (Optional) field, add details about the deployment's function or location.
Under AWS Configuration, provide the following credentials and details:.
Access Key ID (Required): Enter the AWS access key ID.
Secret Access Key (Required): Enter the AWS secret access key.
Region (Required): Select the appropriate AWS region from the dropdown list where the Edge component should be deployed.
For Deploy Now (Optional), toggle to either enable or disable immediate deployment of the Edge after creation.
To initiate the deployment, click Create. To discard the configuration, click Cancel.
