Configure PX

Perform this procedure on the Packet Capture appliance.

To configure the Packet Capture to communicate with the NDR:

SSH to the Packet Capture :
$ ssh npadmin@10.1.0.1 or $ ssh npadmin@FQDN
Enter privileged mode:
npadmin@px> enable
Enter the admin password:
[sudo] password for npadmin: <password>
Enter configuration mode:
npadmin@px# configure system
Enter the rsync menu:
rsync
Accept the (A) rsync keys, (T) tunnel keys, (M) ACM Keys.
Type a then press a to accept and press Enter.
Type t then press a to accept and press Enter.
Type m then press a to accept and press Enter.
Save and quit.

Verify that the NDR appliance is receiving data from the Packet Capture by viewing the event table on the NDR Web UI dashboard. You will also see the Packet Capture appliance in the Appliance Health on the NDR Web UI.
