The File Protect Web UI uses HTTPS to provide a secure connection with the appliance or sensor. The Web UI functions you have access to depend on the privileges granted by your role.

Logging in to the Web UI
Important
The username for the default administrator is admin. The default password (admin) must be changed to a password of 8 to 32 characters before this user can log in to the Web UI and create other users. If this has not been done, see the System Administration Guide for instructions.
Go to
https://appliance or sensorin the browser, whereappliance or sensoris the IP address or hostname of the appliance or sensor. For example, if the configured IP address of the appliance is 10.1.0.1, enterhttps://10.1.0.1.On the login page, enter the username and password provided by your administrator.
