Configuring the number of embedded URLs to extract from files

You can configure the maximum number of embedded URLs to be extracted from the PDF. The number of embedded URLs can range from 1 to 20. The default value is 5.

Note
Guest images are used to extract the embedded URLs from Microsoft Office files during dynamic analysis. Therefore, the static-analysis embedded-urls limit command does not apply to Microsoft Office Files.

You can configure the maximum number of embedded URLs to extract only using the CLI.

Prerequisites

Administrator or Operator access to the Malware Analysis appliance.
Guest Images Release 16.0901 or higher to detect URLs that are embedded in a Microsoft Office file.
