When an exclusion is created, Insights retrieves all exclusions for a given ePO - SaaS policy group and updates the posture score to reflect fewer or no devices with insufficient coverage.
From the Devices and Events page, select the required device and select Take Action → Create an Exclusion For Insufficient Coverage. Alternatively, you can go to the Settings page and select Exclusions → Take Action → Create an Exclusion.
Add the exclusion name, description, category, and device(s) and/or tag(s). These fields are mandatory.
If selecting by device, you can search using a substring in Agent-GUID and System Name fields.
If selecting by tag, you can search using a substring in the Tag Name field.
Note
Only Trellix ENS 10.7 for Windows and Linux devices is listed, whereas Trellix IPS and non-managed devices are not included.
Linux devices do not support categories such as Zero-Day and some configuration features. For more information, see Endpoint score calculation.
Click Save to create the exclusion.
Click Refresh now to refresh the user interface after creating, deleting, and editing exclusions for the changes to take effect. This applies to both campaigns and non-campaign exclusions.
