Create the cluster

Identify the Intelligent Sandbox Appliance that you want to use as the primary node, then log on to the Intelligent Sandbox web interface.

Click Manage → Load Balancing.

Configure the primary node.

1. In the Node IP address field, enter the managing node IP address.

2. From the drop-down list, select Primary.

3. Click Add Node.

4. On the confirmation window, click Yes.

For each secondary node, complete the following.

In each cluster, you can configure up to 16 nodes.

1. Back up the configuration settings.

2. In the Node IP address field, enter the secondary node management port IP address.

3. From the drop-down list, select Secondary.

4. Click Add Node.

5. On the confirmation window, click Yes.

   Note

   When you click Yes on the confirmation message box, the primary node saves its configuration in a file and sends this to the secondary node. This file contains those configurations, which this document refers to as synchronized configuration. The secondary uses this configuration file to overwrite the corresponding configuration in its database. So, make sure that you have taken a backup of the secondary's configuration before you proceed. When you remove the secondary from the cluster, it retains the primary node's configuration.

In the Cluster IP address field, enter the unassigned IP address, which is in the same L2 network as the primary and backup nodes, then click Save.

Configure the backup node.

1. In the Node IP address field, enter the backup node management port IP address.

2. From the drop-down list, select Backup.

3. Click Add Node.

4. On the confirmation window, click Yes.

If you want to change the backup node, you must remove it from the cluster.

Sort the columns and hide or display the required columns.
