In order to manage other Trellix Series appliances, the CM 7600 simply needs a connection that allows it to communicate with the managed appliances. This connection can be practically anywhere in the network. The diagram below illustrates the typical deployment of managed Trellix Series appliances and a CM connected to a typical network device.

Prerequisites
Before connecting the CM 7600. to your network, ensure that your network device provides 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet output.
Cabling
To connect your CM 7600 to your network:
Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the ether1 port.
Connect the other end of the cable to the network device.
