Enabling and disabling IPMI firmware notifications using the CLI

This procedure describes how to use CLI commands to disable and re-enable notifications about out-of-date IPMI firmware on the Central Management System appliance. This notification is enabled by default.

To disable notifications about out-of-date firmware:

Go to CLI configuration mode:

hostname > enable
hostname # configure terminal

Disable notifications:

hostname (config) # no ipmi firmware update notice enable

Save your changes.
```
hostname (config) # write memory
```

To re-enable notifications about out-of-date firmware:

Go to CLI configuration mode:

hostname > enable
hostname # configure terminal

Enable notifications:

hostname (config) # ipmi firmware update notice enable

Save your changes.
```
hostname (config) # write memory
