You can enable or disable analysis of URLs that are embedded in PDF and Microsoft Office files within an email message by using the Malware Analysis appliance Web UI or CLI:

After you have configured the Malware Analysis appliance to detect URLs that are embedded in PDF and Microsoft Office files using the CLI, you can view the analysis of the results on the page and Malware Analysis page.
Note
The embedded URL analysis feature supports all analysis modes. For details about each analysis mode, see Analysis modes on . Prerequisites
Administrator or Operator access to the Malware Analysis appliance
Guest Images Release 16.0901 or higher to detect URLs that are embedded in a Microsoft Office file.
