On the Malware Analysis page, you can filter the results of malware analysis. Only 10 malware jobs can be displayed per page. A message (located at the top of the event results table) shows how many analysis are included for the current filter. For example, you can filter the list based on the results of the malicious samples. If you have submitted many samples to the Malware Analysis appliance, you can filter and search whether a particular MD5 checksum is malicious.
In the Web UI, click the Analysis tab.
Enter the specific search criteria that you want to filter in the Pattern box.
Select the column option to be filtered based on your search criteria from the Column drop-down list.
To enable Malware Analysis appliance to filter entries as case-sensitive, select the Case Sensitive checkbox .
Select the role that submitted the malware analysis job using the Submitted By drop-down list.
All—Shows all roles.
admin—Shows administrator roles.
Click Set Filter when you have selected the criteria you want.
If you want to remove your filtering selections, click Clear.
Click Apply Changes.
(Optional) Export an XML or PDF file of the results. The XML contains the event details based on your filter criteria. The PDF file contains only the content that is visible on the page. For example, if an item on the page is not expanded, the details about that item are displayed and will not be included in the PDF output.
To export the XML file, click the XML dump link (at the bottom of the page).
To export a PDF, expand sections to show the information you want to capture. Choose the processing time as standard, extra, or heavy. The default processing time is standard. Click Print PDF at the top right-side of the page.
