You need an API authentication key, generated in the DOD portal, to integrate your virtual File Protect appliance with IVX Cloud.
To generate an API key in the IVX Cloud portal:
Log in to the IVX Cloud portal.
Click Settings > Key Management.
Click Create Authorization Key.
In the Create New Authorization Key window, give a name to the API key, specify the period after which the API key expires, and click Generate.

Copy the authentication key.
You need to add this authentication key to the virtual File Protect appliance to integrate DOD with your virtual File Protect appliance. See Integrating DOD with FX sensor through FX Web UI or Adding the API key to the virtual File Protect appliance Using the CLI.
