You can export customer rules to a JSON file that you can edit and manage offline or share with others. You can also import customer rules that are in a JSON format into Helix Enterprise.
Important
You cannot import a rule that was previously exported and then deleted.
To import a rule:
From the main menu, select Configure > Rules.
Click Import at the top-right corner of the page.
In the Import Rule window, select a Rule Pack from the drop-down menu. Helix Enterprise will place the rule in this rule pack.
Click Choose File and select the JSON file containing the rule you want to import.
Click Import.
To export a rule:
From the main menu, select Configure > Rules.
Click
at the end of the role for the rule, and select Export. A .jsonfile will be downloaded immediately to your browser's default location, and will be named[rule ID number].json. No dialog box will appear.Note
You cannot export Trellix rules.
