Install Microsoft Office on the virtual machine

To install Microsoft Office on the virtual machine, you must download the compatibility pack from Microsoft.

In the Microsoft Office Setup window, select the following options, then click Next.
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft OneNote
Note
You can configure Microsoft Publisher and Access from Microsoft Office Suite.
To open Microsoft Office files created in a newer version of Microsoft Office, install the compatibility pack.
1. Download the required Microsoft Office compatibility pack for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote file formats.
2. Install the compatibility pack on the virtual machine.
In the Compatibility Pack for the 2007 Office system window, select Click here to accept the Microsoft Software License Terms, then click OK.
