Trellix recommends that, after you have completed initial configuration of the Intelligent Virtual Execution - Server appliances and are managing them from one or more Central Management System appliances, you configure the managed Intelligent Virtual Execution - Server appliances using the Central Management System appliance.
Trellix recommends that you use the Central Management System Web UI whenever possible (rather than the Central Management System CLI or the Intelligent Virtual Execution - Server CLI). However, certain Intelligent Virtual Execution - Server functions are configurable from the CLI only. The command syntax is described in Running Intelligent Virtual Execution - Server CLI Commands from the Central Management CLI.
The following Intelligent Virtual Execution - Server functions are configured in the CLI only.
